Transformers: 2007

Being the huge transformers fan that I am, I went to see the new movie almost as soon as it came out. I had only a handful of problems with it. The first was that Jazz died. In the G1 series, Jazz was my favorite character, so I was really put off that Megatron rips him in half. Plus, he survived in the original film, even if he spent the entire time as a prisoner of Unicron. I also thought there could have been a little more action. the first seven to ten minutes and the last thirty minutes were the way the whole movie should have been. There wasn't enough Autobot vs Decepticon battles. I mean you don't need to build up the human characters as much as they did. The first three episodes of The Transformers which totaled a time of about one hour (half the length of the movie) Did a better job developing all the characters. They should have just used those few episodes to be the model from the movie. You coould have easily replaced energon with the Cube. And you could have had some large battle at the end. Heck, the decepticons could have just used Qatar as the place to build that ship that they try and escape on at the end of episode 3. And now that i think about it, you could add the whole energon thing in with the Cube.

The movie in itself was a epic adventure. It deserves five stars. But unlike the original movie made back in 1986, this movie is not as good the second time you see it. I did love it. I even bought the two-disc special edition, but it could have been better, there could have been more fighting. This movie, even with its flaws, will be up there with some of my favorite movies. they kept true to the characters of all the Autobots, Megatron, and Starscream. I will say that Soundwave's counterpart in the movie, Frenzy, stays true to the character of Soundwave. I was thankful that he did not have tapes eject from his chest.

The Touch

This is for all you Transformers Fans out there. It seemed only appropriate when I found this online to post it on my blog.

"TILL ALL ARE ONE!"

Phones

Just got a new phone the other day. It's pretty awesome except for the fact that it didn't come with one of those micro SD memory cardsor the cable to hok the phone up to the computer. I'm going to have to get my hands on some cash in order to buy those things. I guess I shouldn't complain seeing as how I have unlimited texting now. No more counting to see if I have exceeded 50 texts, both sent and recieved. Once I'm on my own I might switch to whatever service covers the iPhone. I think that you get free internet service on it. Comment if I'm wrong.

To be honest, I've never been one for fancy music phones. A phone is a phone. It's not a TV. Having music on your phone is not mandititory. Well I guess if it is your primary portable music player then it is. A camera on your phone is not a must have feature either. I can see how having all that on your phone can beat carrying all those devices around separately. I'd love to have a super computer on my phone, but really, is it truly necessary?

BOSTON

Trying to fnd some good music to listen to? I would suggest the sweet sounds of Boston. No i am not talking about the Jazz. With four albums released and 40 original songs totheir name, Boston is THE band. In fact these guys figured out how to really rock out on the organ. The best part is that they were able top create EXTREMELY good music without drug, sex or alcholic references or even language. Songs like "Amanda" from their third album, Third Stage, address problems like dating a friend. I have to say that I was given the courage to do so because of their music. I listen to all their songs each day that I'm alive. In fact I even write to their music. I guess that means I'll have to dedicate one of my books to them. So go to iTunes or whatever download site you belong to and pick up the music of the gods today.

P.S. Boston is better than the Beatles because they were not high when they wrote their music.

Hello. I am the RAPTOR 2007. This is my blog. I am a Halo 3 player and have been online since December 25, 2007. So I suppose you could say that I'm not very experienced. I also play Guitar Hero III on live from time to time. I'm only at Medium Difficulty though. I also enjoy games such as Assasin's Creed and KOTOR. I really am pretty much anti Nintendo and I hate Playstation.

I am also a huge Tolkein and Micheal Crighton fan. I actually collect books by both authors. For Crighton I have read Jurassic Park, The Lost World, Congo, Sphere, and I am reading Timeline. I am also a HUGE fan of Jurassic Park. It is the BEST movie ever made. I have all three of them on DVD. Steven Speilberg is my favorite Director. My favorite actors are Harrison Ford, Jeff Goldblume, and Bruce Willis. Big fan of Preditor, Matrix, Terminator, and Die Hard. Live Free Die Hard, from what I was able to stomach, tainted the name of Die Hard.

I am also a big Transformers fan. i do have to admit that i do not really own but a few. Overall I favor the G1 series from the 80's. all of these can be found at youtube. I will eventually publish the link for the person who posts the episodes so that you can find all the G1 episodes with no hassel.

My Blog will have posts about all these things and more. So come on into the Raptor Nest.
